NSD-My Pink Stamper Challenge #7

This challenge was do something for the man in your life. Since Robert's birthday is Tuesday and I had not made his card from the kids, I chose to get this task done! I used Storybook for the frame and Alphalicious for the Dad. The ribbon is Martha Stewart. The cardstock is all the Paper Studio. I think the pattern paper is My Mind's Eye (it came from my scraps!)

NSD-My Pink Stamper-Challenge #5

This challenge was to do something Teacher Appreciation related. Well, being that Teacher Appreciation day is next week, this is my chance! Now, I'm not one for projects, but the lady doing the example had done a gift card holder and a light bulb went off in my head! I'd just been looking at Forever Young and they have some cute purses that would be soo cute for a gift card holder! My son wanted purple, so here is my first try at making a purse!

This is the front. (My daughter is now in here saying that the middle of the flower needs a jewel!)

Here's the back. I cut the saying from Lyrical Letters, everything else was cut with Forever Young.

NSD-My Pink Stamper-Challenge #2

This is my entry for the second challenge from My Pink Stamper. This challenge was to use your scraps! I had these left over from a card I did in April and I was waiting to get to use them! The paper is DCWV. The stamp and ink are SU. I blinged it up (is that word?) using Stickles! And there's another bow! The ribbon is from Offray.

Mother's Day Card

I made this card for My Pink Stamper's Challenge #1. It was harder than it looked! It took way too long to be as simple as it is, but such is life....The pattern paper is My Mind's Eye, the yellow cs is CM and I don't know where the other came from. The ink and stamp is SU. The flower was cut using Sweet Treats and the label was from Storybook.

My First Challenge

I am going to play all day today! I've got my IPod blasting and my cropping stuff out! There are several sights doing challenges if you are like me, stuck at home on NSD. So, play, challenge yourself, and have a good time! This challenge came from Glenda at Paper Crafting Mania. This challenge was SOOO much fun! She had you cut paper into several sizes:

Then you used 4 of the shapes and made your OWN card sketch! This is my sketch:

Then, you have to follow your own sketch! (Now really, how hard is that?) Here is the card that I made with my sketch:

The hardest part of this whole thing was tying the bow! Oh, I almost forgot, the pattern paper is DCWV, the pink is SU and the blue is CM. The ribbon is Offray from Joann's. I used the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Provo Craft.

Layouts with LOTS of Pictures 3

This is my layout from Bethlehem Revisited. If you live in the Dallas area, you really should check this out. It is in Waxahachie and it's FREE! They recreate the ancient streets of Bethlehem on the night that Jesus was born. (Of course, it's a December thing!) This layout, the pictures really couldn't be trimmed down much, so the images are larger. I didn't have a lot of room for a title so I used some of my small sticker letters. The patterned paper, sticker letters and journaling box are CM, the cardstock is Co'ordinations. I used my CM tearing tool to get a nice edge with the tearing.
