Congratulations Card

Here is another card that I did at the SU sneak preview. This stamp is in the same set as the happy birthday in the last card. The border is made with the new border punch that you can get for free!

Birthday card with new SU stuff

Here is another card that I did at the SU sneak preview. We colored the flowers in with aquapainters and ink, the butterflies are made with sizzlet dies. January is a big birthday month in my family, so I will need lots of cards! Everything on this card is SU.

Card made with new SU stamps

On Saturday I went to a Sneak Preview of the new Stampin Up clear stamps! Let me tell you, they are awesome! This is one of the cards that we made. I didn't do a very good job coloring her in; I still have a learning curve!

Our newest family member

This is Penny. She is a Pekingese. She is also Amanda's Christmas present. We got her from an Animal Rescue place on Saturday. She is very sweet and she just fit right in! Even Travis is adjusting to her!

She is still not real sure about Jasmine (the cat), but Jasmine tries to play with her!

Best Wishes

This is another card that I made at a Stampin' Up 4 for $5. It is very similiar in design to the Christmas card I posted a few days ago. Everything on this card is SU. The stamp set we used was Charming.

Christmas Card-Card Sketch

I did really well last week and posted every day, but this week-my mojo is just gone! I must have left it in Missouri! We did get Amanda home safe and sound though. This was my week to do the card sketch over at FCTSC. It took me three days to get this card right. (I told ya my mojo is gone.) The paper is DCVW and frame was cut with Storybook.

Birthday Card

I went to a card making class at my local scrapbook store back in May and we made this card. I thought that it would be perfect for my nephew's birthday, which is December 22. It has been so long that I can not remember the brand of paper that we used, but we did use fun flock on the lighter brown parts of the monkey.

Birthday Card

This is the card that I made for my Dad's birthday on Monday. The Tuesday Color challenge over at FCTSC was roy g biv. This striped paper from October Afternoon worked great! I also used the sketch from the Wednesday Card Sketch, also on FCTSC. I used Storybook to cut my frames and the stamp and ink is CTMH. I still have trouble getting the image to ink up and stamp correctly. I guess I just need more practice!

Christmas Tree Card

I addressed my Christmas cards today and realized that I will need a couple more. I made this very simple card using an old sticker from CM. I've probably had this tree sticker 4-5 years. The paper is AC Cardstock and CM and the stamp is CTMH.

Christmas Layout

Here is another layout that I did on Friday. Back when I sold CM I had made these borders and journaling box and never used them. They matched this background paper perfectly, so after 4-5 years I finally used them! (How's that for scrap your stash!) The background paper is Die Cuts With a View (DCWV) and the rest is CM paper and stickers. The title was cut with Wild Card.

Texas Snow Layout

Shelly and I cropped on Friday and I did this page. I tried to use fun flock to make it look like the letters were snow capped, but it really did not work very well. I'm sorry that I did not get it posted sooner, but I am having computer issues and it would not let me download the pictures off of my camera. The snowflakes came from Winter Woodland and Christmas Cheer. I then used Stickles to make them prettier!

Pionsettia Card

I got 3 new Cricut cartridges over the weekend! I couldn't pass on the great prices! I made this card today using Winter Woodland. I know that it is the same paper I used last week, but I had the card base already cut and I wanted to use it. I ran the bottom layer of the poinsettia through the cuttlebug to give it some dimension. I used gold embossing powder to do the Merry Christmas. The paper is a combo of SU and CM.
