Another CTMH class card! I just LOVE these cards! I've only made 2, both in classes. Maybe someday I'll try one by myself! All products were CTMH.

Horse Birthday Card
This is a card that I made for my Sister-in-law's birthday. She really likes horses. I wasn't real happy with this card, but she'll like it! The horses and star was cut from Old West. I cut the horses in a brownish gray color and then I inked them with Colorbox chalk ink to achieve the shading and different coloring in them. I also used the Dark brown chalk ink to ink the edges of the card. The stamp is SU and the ink for the stamp is CTMH. The horseshoe paper is Creative Imaginations. The base card is kraft paper from SU.

Color Challenge
I volunteered to do the color challenge at Paper Crafting Mania this week. The colors are blues and greens with one accent color. I used Nautical blue and Mediterrean blue with Honeydew for the green. All of my papers are CM. I made this card as a get well card for our preacher. He always wears the brightest colors, so when we made the shirt on Saturday, I knew that I had to find a bright print and make him a card! The sentiment is CTMH and the ink is SU. I ran the Honeydew square thru the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dot folder. The buttons are brads from Spare Parts.

Father's Day Cards
I wanted to share with you the cards that I made for my Father-In-Law and my Dad! The first one is for my FIL. He is the cook in the family and everyone always loves his chicken fried steak! I used my Everyday Paper Dolls to make both cards. I had a hard time with the hair, both my FIL and Dad are balding and there was not hair for that. So, my dolls have hair! I also tried to cut a spatula for his hand, but it was too small and wouldn't cut right. The best part about these cards is that I used all scraps! I cut both dolls at 3" and inked all the edges with Creamy Brown chalk ink from Colorbox. The face stamp is from Peachy Keen and the sentiment is and ink is CTMH. I couldn't think of a good sentiment, so I used my "you rock" stamp and crossed thru rock and hand wrote cook with a SU marker.
This one is for my Dad. He is a farmer in his retirement years! This was perfect because he loves to wear his overalls! This sentiment was cut from Old West. The background paper is October Afternoon.

Multiple pictures
I used 11 pictures on this layout by trimming my pictures down and trying a new arrangement. I've learned to think "outside the box" when it comes to getting all my pictures on the page! This is the next page after the Christmas morning page (in the last post) so I didn't title it. After I took the picture, I decided that it did need a title. I put "Our Turn" in the spaces above and below the top picture on the right hand page. I also used some good old stickers to fill in some of the empty spaces! If you're like me, you have lots of stickers, so use them! The holly paper is DCWV, the red cardstock and lined journaling paper is CM. The stickers are also CM.

Use the paper to your advantage
The paper that I used for this layout (sorry, I don't remember who makes it) has words all over it. I used this to my advantage. Instead of cutting a separate title, I made a frame for the phrases that I wanted to emphasize. Then I arranged my pictures around the frames. While this is a very plain page, it allowed me to use all the pictures that I wanted and still have room for a journaling box!

Great Font!
Over the last week, I have finished up my 2007 family album! Woo Hoo! Now I can start on our Disney album! In the next few posts I will show several more layouts that have lots of pictures and they will all be Christmas! I know, it's a little early for Christmas, but this is when I got them done! I wanted to share this layout because I just absolutely LOVE this font! It is from my Winter Woodland cartridge. I cut the font and the shadow. I think that this has to be one of the prettiest fonts I've seen! The paper is Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses. I cut the tag using Very Merry Tags and my Gypsy to size it the way I wanted it.
