Great Font!

Over the last week, I have finished up my 2007 family album! Woo Hoo! Now I can start on our Disney album! In the next few posts I will show several more layouts that have lots of pictures and they will all be Christmas! I know, it's a little early for Christmas, but this is when I got them done! I wanted to share this layout because I just absolutely LOVE this font! It is from my Winter Woodland cartridge. I cut the font and the shadow. I think that this has to be one of the prettiest fonts I've seen! The paper is Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses. I cut the tag using Very Merry Tags and my Gypsy to size it the way I wanted it.

Layouts with Lots of Pictures 5

The is is of the Ice! display at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. I wanted to use as many pictures as possible to show how awesome this was! The background paper is by Fancy Pants, the orange cardstock, vellum, and vellum icicles are all CM. I cut the title using Winter Woodland. I had forgotten there was a font on that cart and it is a really NICE font! If you have that cart, get out and use the font!

Color Challenge Layout

I did the Tuesday Color Challenge over on FCTSC this week. I had done this layout the week before and thought that the blue, red, and white would be good colors to use! I used Winter Woodland to cut the title with Co'ordinations whitewash cardstock then I embossed it using the Snowflakes Cuttlebug folder, then I sanded it so you could see the blue through the white. The background is Bazzill Dotted Swiss paper and the red is cranberry from CM. The snowman is from Doodlecharms. And no, this was not last week, these pictures are from 2007!

Brrr...It's cold outside!

It is really cold here today! The high was 25 with windchills in the teens, so I thought this page would be appropriate! These pictures are from an ice storm we had in 2007. I cut the Brrrr out of clear vellum with the Winter Woodlands cartridge. I then used sparkling embossing powder on it and heat embossed the entire word to make it sparkle. I hope you can see that in these pictures! The paper is CM.

Here is a close up of the title.

Texas Snow Layout

Shelly and I cropped on Friday and I did this page. I tried to use fun flock to make it look like the letters were snow capped, but it really did not work very well. I'm sorry that I did not get it posted sooner, but I am having computer issues and it would not let me download the pictures off of my camera. The snowflakes came from Winter Woodland and Christmas Cheer. I then used Stickles to make them prettier!

Pionsettia Card

I got 3 new Cricut cartridges over the weekend! I couldn't pass on the great prices! I made this card today using Winter Woodland. I know that it is the same paper I used last week, but I had the card base already cut and I wanted to use it. I ran the bottom layer of the poinsettia through the cuttlebug to give it some dimension. I used gold embossing powder to do the Merry Christmas. The paper is a combo of SU and CM.
